Annie was special. She had a majical laugh and smile - and that beautiful long hair. Her passing so early in life is just not right. I am happy she pursued her dreams to Hawaii. I will always cherish my memories of Ann.

I came back from college one summer and drove across Memorial drive to Annie's house to see her. We layed down in the grass in her front yard. The grass was uncut and soft. I put my camera in the grass facing us on self timer - we lay prone and looked at the camera through the blades. That small photo was in my wallet for years; for the last 10 years it has graced my refrigerator. That was the last time I saw or spoke with Annie. I have missed her ever since and miss her even more now. In home room class she was always happy and energized. Even when she was down she was up. She hopped around sitting down. She was just like her Irish setter - wiggling and wagging, always happy to see you. A pleasure to be around. We often went to her boyfriend's apartment and got to ride in his Jaguar and play Indian. She radiated like a child in the park. I truely loved her. Run rabbit run, you will be with us always.
